CBD Scientific Research

Below is a constantly updated library of the current state of independant academic research on CBD (and other cannabinoids) and it’s effectiveness to treat or manage various conditions.

Medical Disclaimer: Please Read This First

Nordic Botanics makes no medical claims about our products, and comply with all UK laws and regulations concerning the marketing of CBD and other Hemp-derived products.

But we’re also scientists, and we put a lot of faith in the intelligence of our customers. We believe in sharing the very latest research so that you can seek out your own information.

Each link below will link to another page on our website, which in turn indexes scientific papers hosted on third party websites. Just because we have a page to a particular condition below, there are no guarantees that CBD shows any success in the studies or trials of that condition. In fact, we believe these papers are just as important! Especially with USA based companies (where marketing regulation is apparently non-existent?!) we see companies making all kinds of wild claims just to sell as much CBD Oil as possible!

It reminds of us Snake Oil sold in the Wild West, and does more damage to the industry and to the mental wellbeing of someone suffering from one of these conditions when they are ultimately, let down on their expectations.

We pride ourselves of going above-and-beyond the minimum regulations when it comes to marketing our natural CBD products. We don’t need to mislead you, and we sleep soundly each night knowing we maintain our integrity everyday in marketing our products fairly and honestly.

Please review the literature. We are unable to respond to enquiries on any medical conditions, and while Nordic Botanic’s founder and CEO Liam Gooding is a total geek who obsesses over this stuff, regretfully, he can also offer no personal advice as he is not a licensed Medically Trained professional and is not your Primary Care Physician.

However, Doctors are only human and specifically General Practitioners are expected to keep up-to-date with the overwhelming research on many conditions every week. So it’s unfair to expect yours to be an expert on cannabis-based studies, and they will undoubtedly be grateful if you can bring the latest research with you to your next consultation.
